Snakes have been considered a sign of wisdom for centuries. Try looking up the meaning in a dream dictionary (many online) or find a site that talks about ancient symbols/snakes. It's pretty fascinating.

Snakes have many different meaning through many different cultures. From Sexuality , compassion, wisdom, to clairvoyant the snake isn't a negative sign. Hey native americans believe that the snake can cure illness and middle eastern cultures believe that the snake means rebirth or a cyclic nature. I guess you have to sit down and meditate on that dream a bit more to see what message wise Mr Snake has for you.

Except in my dream, I was chasing the maid Goddess through a virgin forest which was dense and dark into a wide meadow filled with light and love. You are thus summoned to the craft, my dear. In my dream the snake was at my back door. It wasnt attacking me or even heading towards me. Then I remember saying either in the dream or in real life, that this is what I would do if a snake came in and attacked my kids. Then I held a stick that was split at the top. Then the snake was all of a sudden on my couch. I was behind the couch then. The snake again wasnt attacking me, but with the stick (which seemed perfectly made) I held it on the snake near its throat and was sort of was pushing it away from me. I was sort of afraid at that point, but then again I wasnt because it wasnt trying to harm me at all. Then the next thing I know I woke up. Then when my son came to me and told me I was a witch like Jon. Jon was a guy that I lived with in Indiana. He turned out to be dangerous for me metaphysically. Then my son preceded to say that I was a witch and it wasnt good. Then when I got on the paganmystic website the deity was a rainbow snake. I have been looking up the meaning of snake dreams, but only a micro of that info makes sense. What do you truly think?

Hmm, i don't know much about snake dieties. Are you afraid of snakes? Maybe the Gods showed you the snake to show you what you SHOULDN'T get into. I hate it when people tell me this but i don't know what else to say. All will become clear in time. May your mind be open and your heart be true. Your sister in spirit, Dragona.
