Greetings Dragon Star. It is stemmed from, and very similar to Gardnerian Wicca, however some of the differences would be that certain ceremonial practices can also be utilised, which Alex incorporated from his side studies. Every coven is different, so some may emphasis them more than others. Those interested in Traditional Wicca, along with other interests of the Western Esoteric, and even some Eastern traditions, would probably be inclined to connect well in the Alexandrian tradition.

Sammi, what type of guidance are you seeking? General, tradition specific questions, does location matter (such as finding local teachers), etc.  Give us a bit of background.

Tracy, I'm so very sorry to hear that.  She's clearly left quite a legacy--may we all be so loved when we leave.  Blessings to all she left behind...

I wanted to share some sad news. On march 18th, 2011 one of our sisters crossed the veil from our world to the next. Lyonise was born on June 8th, 1963. She will be sorly missed and please send prayers to her family, as they are struggling without her. Those of us lucky enough to have known her will never be the same people we were before we knew her. Her love and kindness knew no ends. She was my sister, my friend and my mentor, and i love her passionatly, and i will miss her the same. But I know my girl, I will see ya on the other side. Rest now my sister in our Great Mothers Arms. Blessings Tracy
