Today my dogs found a stray cat in my mom's lily garden. The dogs chased it all the way to the back patio, and they would have got it if my mom did not say "no". The cat then climbed up the privacy fence and stayed there. The dogs were brought in and mom checked to see if they were bitten. The stray cat looked very weak and way too skinny. It acted like it did not know how to get down. We were going to call animal control but it then left.
The stray cat was grey and it was similar to this other stray cat that hangs out in front of the house, and it sort of trusts us. The one that hangs out in front is a little damaged. It lets us get close before it runs away, maybe because we have fed it a couple of times because we feel sorry for it. Of course we would never try to pick them up due to disease and such. We tend to have some stray cats walking around.
