Hi everyone!! My birth name is Melinda - but still searching for my soul name. I'm really not sure what I truelly believe in as far as my 'religion' goes.. I have several beliefs that mixes with different set religions and am exploring different faiths to see if my beliefs actually fit one religion that I'm not exposed to here in woodzy Alabama. lol
Next month I'll be 23 and I have fibromyalgia, having issues paying the $349.97 monthly prescription for just one of my medications. I work moving trees and shurbs in the garden center at Lowes tho I work for a different company that vends there.. Even tho its a full time job it still has seasonal hours and its gotten down to 1 day a week now. So I started another job selling the highest grade sterling silver that hypoallerginic and has real gemstones so no two pieces look the same! I'm having a really slow start but thats to be expected since I dont really know a lot of people to get my name out there. But its my only way of paying for my medicine right now so I'm trying my best. I'm really happy about the way my life is going right now, and just looking for friends and people to help aiding in my healing (physically and spiritually) by prayers. So its much appreciated if you send some my way. I cant wait to start reading and posting in the discussions. Hope everyone has a blessed weekend! Thanks, Melinda

Greetings Everyone!

My name is Althaea,it comes from the Greek verb "to heal." I'm an herbalist of about ten years, slowly working my way towards a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. I am also self studying (when I can) Midwifery. I am an energy healer, combination of Reiki and what I'd been doing before my attunement that really works for me; I also heal by laying on stones.

I'm a mother of 3 with 2 stepkids. My husband are I are raising our kids in our fatih which is great! I love to swap stories, experiences. Looking forward to speaking with you all!

Namaste,
Althaea

First to introduce myself :) I am 37 and have M.E and Fibromyalgia and I take a myriad of prescription painkillers and drugs including morphine. I have suffered for over 10 years and am getting worse in regards to the M.E. My energy levels are 0 most days and it feels like someone has 'pulled the plug' on me. It would mean the world to me if blessings could be said for me.

Brightest Blessings to all x x

Phoebe,
I highly recommend that he get in touch with a local Alcoholics Anonymous group. I think that this will address the broad spectrum of his drinking and give him the support he needs to maintain his sobriety.

For YOU my dear, I recommend Al Anon. This is a fantastic organization. I am currently involved with the on-line group but will be going to meetings locally as well very soon. I can not tell you how much this group has helped me to understand addiction and its effects on family members and relationships. You won't believe it! If you want to talk with me more about it feel free to friend me so that we can exchange messages. The address for the online Al Anon group is:
www.oal-is.org. You can request that they send you login info.

Phoebe, it's a good idea to get a handle on this as soon as possible, particularly if you will be getting married and maybe having children. I wish you the very best. Please do contact me if you want to talk.

Love and Light,
~ Lily

Phoebe Dawn, I have to agree with Branwen about messing around with someones free will, it is kind of stepping into hoodoo slightly and that can be dangerous.
However, if your fiancee is serious about giving up, first of all he would have to establish if he is an Alcoholic, ie cannot go without a drink without experiencing withdrawal or whether he has other issues which just make him drink too much when he does drink, if this is the latter and he just wishes to cut down he could try carrying amethyst in his pocket, or wear it as a talisman. Amethyst is a great crystal for sobreity.
Good Luck my friend, I have dealt with this sort of situation and I know it is not easy.
I would just like to add that if by 'mean' you refer to how he treats you, if he should ever raise his hand to you just walk away girl....
Branwen Comment by Branwen on June 18, 2010 at 8:00pm
Greetings Phoebe,
If we're talking about a "light" alcoholism problem there are banishing spells that you can perform and they are effective (I've already tested them). The problem is that these spells will only work for about one day, and since they interfere with the person's free will usually what happens is that after a short term effectivness everything ends up by worsening, that is, the person usually restarts to drink even more. So be careful about these spells or any other spell which messes up with someone else's free will.
If he really wants to quit drinking I would advise him to try some hypnotherapy sessions, which are going to "program" his mind and strenghten his will not to drink anymore.
Blessings
