"We are not evil.
We don't harm or seduce people.
We are not dangerous.
We are ordinary people like you.
We have families, jobs, hopes, dreams.
We are not a cult.
This religion is not a joke.
We are not what you think we are from looking at t.v.
We are real.
We laugh, we cry.
We are serious.
We have a sense of humour.
You don't have to be afraid of us.
We don't want to convert you.
And please don't try to convert us.
Just give us the same right we give you--to live in peace.
We are much more similar to you than you think."

When one defines oneself as Pagan, it means she or he follows an earth or nature religion, one that sees the divine manifest in all creation. The cycles of nature are our holy days, the earth is our temple, its plants and creatures our partners and teachers. We worship a deity that is both male and female, a mother Goddess and father God, who together created all that is, was, or will be. We respect life, cherish the free will of sentient beings, and accept the sacredness of all creation.

Merry Meet everyone!!!! New to the group, but not the site. I wish I would have seen this group sooner. My family and I are very proud of our religion even though most of our family looks at us as "Devil Worshipers", lol. Just wanted to say hi and to say thank you for the group Rainstorm!!! Blessed Be to All !!!!!

Hello, everyone. I have a huge hope that one day people would not fear Paganism so much. If my beloved little brother (a devout Catholic) can accept and love me, then nothing is out of the realm of possibility, lol.

Pagan Pride Day is coming up again! Time to get your purple ribbons ready, everyone! Mark it on your calendar so you don't forget! Wear the purple ribbon Sept. 21 & 22. And spread the word!

Merry Meet!

I am SO SO happy that IWitch is here. I live in an area dominated by Baptists and Catholics and when ever i discuss my personal beleifs with others they automatically deem that i'm a satanist! Even after explanation they still think i'm weird. Just the other night i was blessing a gift for a friend behind my apartment building and two people walking by said something about evil and satan and ran off! I'm grabbinga button to put on my myspace so Everyone can see what i stand for and how wonderful a world it is!

Happy Earth Day and,

Blessed be!

So tell me all, what are we doing in a positive way to educate and enlighten others as to whom we are and what we believe. I have just moved to a sleepy little town, Sebring, from the big city, MIami. Although I do not hide my knowledge and wisdom, as noticable as my bumper stickers on my car, everyone that I have met that is "different", tells me that as a pagan/witch they are still "in the Closet". They "do not wish others to know about their gift." I say, Get out there and educate!! We do ourselves harm by keeing quiet.
Blessings to all,
Lady Delfini du Mer
