Metaphysical Plane
Some believe that Witches say a few magic words and do a ritual and then a spell is created and
performs its function.
There is a metaphorical plane, a plane where all the psychic energy of both the living and the
dead exists. We draw from this energy when we are being creative. It can also be psychically
tapped to energize one's will and envisionment to cast spells.

Secondly, magic has no color, not white, not black, not even paisley or plaid. Magic is simply the energy that we are able to use to make the Universe conform to our Will. To say it has color would be like saying electricity has color. Magic, like electricity, can be used for good or for ill. Wiccans will use magic to accomplish whatever needs to be done, keeping in mind that our actions have consequences for which we will be responsible. Sometimes the right or the best action is not one which will not cause harm. Sometimes any action we take will be harmful to some extent. We do what is necessary.
A better rule to guide your actions in my opinion is to never do anything magically you wouldn't be willing to do mundanely.
