- Wiccan/Pagan. I have learned in life never to limit yourself to just one way of thinking. With that said, I am also interested in Asatru. I love Norse mythology and the lessons they teach. I am a big fan of Egyptian artwork and culture. But my real passion is the Celtic Pantheon. Overall, I'm still searching for who I am and the direction I want to go. At the moment, I practice alone.
- About Me:
- I guess I'll start this with some background info: I grew up Protestant and practiced Christianity most of my life. Even though it was only recently that I decided to leave Christianity for Wicca, still paganism isn't new to me. It was my freshman year in high school when I met the friend who would change my life and plant the seed that helped me grow to appreciate this religion. I absolutely loved Wicca, paganism, mythology, etc. Things got pretty chaotic in my mind obviously. I was pretty open minded enough to hear others, but still close minded enough to not question my own beliefs. This went on for years until one day Christianity just didn't make sense anymore. I know there is so much more in this world than what is initially presented to us, it just took awhile to realize that Wicca was everything I needed and more, and helped me see the beauty this world has to offer. It's been a long lonely journey. I've collected as many books as I can get my hands on, watched videos on Youtube of people's thoughts and ideas, have tried to absorb as much material as possible, collected and made as many tools as I can afford, and yet still something is missing. I've always been the type to practice alone, even in Christianity. I'm mainly looking for friends who can help me, teach me, mentor me. Looking for someone, or many, to learn together.
