Welcome, Gitana! Just listened to your posts on Delphi and the ancient5 Greek Religion; very cool. My main deities are Apollo, Athena, Hermes, and Demeter. Always wondered what it was like out in Santa Fe, how do you like it?

- Merry meet. I saw that you asked BrianK how to display your age and I wanted to make sure you changed it! When you go into the change settings part, under the section that about your birthday (under your name), change it to say 'display my birthday and age." Well I hope I helped you out!

- I'm 31, currently living in Ferndale, MI, which right now is in the worst economic slump EVER. So yeah, I have no money at the moment, but that is changing as I speak....er, type. My money is coming back to me, soon I'll be flush with it. I'm a very spiritual person, with hands reaching into the Pagan, Budddhist, and Christian Gnostic tradition. How's THAT for ecclectic? I like to read a lot, listen to music, write, learn languages (I'm teaching myself Greek right now...surprise!) I also like movies, especially ones with meaning behind them, something with a message in it we can apply to life. I also like really stupid ones that no one else seems to like, like anything by Hammer films, or Hostel, the Nightmare on Elm Street series, etc. Oh, wait, they have separate boxes for that stuff...wish I'd scrolled down sooner...
- Favorite Books:
- OK, let's try this again: I read a LOT. In fact, just when I thought I was done with reading for awhile, I get a whole NEW stack of books to read, mostly from my brother and sister. They know what I like, no doubt...Stephen King, Crichton, Chuck Palahniuk (the guy who wrote Fight Club, great movie...) Spiritually, i like Raymond Buckland, ScottCunningham, Neal Donald Walsch, Thich Nhat Hanh, Eckhart Tolle, Philip Gulley, Joel Osteen (ONLY christian preacher I listen to, the rest are so much hot air, fire, and brimstone....) Clive Barker is a god among men...read one of his books, and it takes you DAYS to process it in your head. Most recently, i discovered a man named Paulo Coelho, thanks to my girlfriend. I am curently devouring his works.
- Favorite Movies:
- Many movies out right now are saying to me that Hollywood is in a new Golden Age. some fine Examples of this: The Illusionist, the Prestige, The Mist, What Dreams May Come, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, 1408, The Number 23, Batman Begins, The Harry Potter Series (I'm probly the only one that HASN'T read ANY of the books yet) and Live free or Die Hard. Also, What the Bleep Do We Know, and the Matrix movies, for when you REALLY want a vacation from reality...
- Favorite Bands:
- More keep coming out every day. I try so hard to keep up...Good Charlotte, Maroon 5, Linkin Park, BOB SEGER, White Stripes, Jessica Simpson, John Mayer, Matchbox 20, The Goo Goo Dolls, Colby Callait (Can't get the song outta my head..."Been asleep for awhile now....") Christina Aguilera, Tom Petty (had to re-buy the Wildflowers album after someone stole it...) Kid Rock (love the new song) Collective Soul, Sister Hazel....Is that enough for now? One more? OK, Sheryl Crow. Happy? :P Anything else you wanna know, please ask, I pretty much don't hide myself...nothing to be ashamed of here.
