Astral Projection Musings

Weird. I sometimes see a darkish glow coming off my body, but it hasn't ever been encased let alone solid. Do you ever, or have you ever, cast a charm to protect yourself while you travel? Maybe some…

~WHAT IS THE MEANING OF YOUR NAME?~

So many replies! No one can resist the urge to talk about themselves ^^ Although, I am no different. My name is a secret, however, and is dear to me. If we ever happen to share the same earthen womb…

My Wooden Train, Take Me Away /|\

“Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not one bit simpler.”

~Albert Einstein (1879 - 1955)

I have been heavily preoccupied as of late. With the birth of my first son only two weeks ago I have done nothing but tend to him and attempt to sleep for long enough at a time to enjoy a dream or two. I seem to have found a simple pattern to my little life, however, and am ready to delve back into my studies in drui without risking neglect for my young family.… Continue

A Beginning /|\

“There are two mistakes one can make along the road to truth...not going all the way, and not starting.”
~Hindu Prince Gautama Siddharta

Walking the road spoken, I attempt a new sort of chronicle I've yet to explore. And so begins my 'blog'. I would prefer to call it a journal, of sorts, but that would defeat the purpose of making my first ever b.l.o.g. Here I will record and share dreams as of late -as well as any occurrences relating to them-, accounts of my journey as a Druid n… Continue

About Me:
I've been studying and exploring several religions originating from all over the globe since I was sixteen. It was at eighteen that I found paganism, only to put the prospect back in the box after a full year's cycle of training under the ways of the witch. Apparently, as intriguing, eye-opening and fun as it was, it wasn't quite for me.

Shuffling my way through Buddhism, Shinto, several forms of Vampirism, my own heritage's Judaism, as well as a few others, I eventually came back paganism. Looking at the more derived paths within pagan beliefs I studied a few briefly and found my way to Druidry. Captivated by the similarities between my own beliefs and those taught, I studied and followed the path of the Druid as it is recorded in today's reckoning for nearly a year before my soul and beliefs were sucked away by the draining energies of the man, who at the time, was supposedly my true love.

Quite a while passed. Many seasons came and went without my celebration; without my recognition.

My spirit became closed.

It was in September of 2008 that my soul finally burned anew. I travelled to south America and witnessed the overgrowth of life flourishing away from the industrial world I had been raised in. Something in nature called my name -without a word spoken- and urged me to break free of my spiritual cage.

It was rather life changing. As many, seemingly inconsequential occurrences prove to be.

I realize now, after a long search, that I am a scholar; a student, a pupil of the world and earth. All knowledge, I thirst for and am learned in a wide array of topics. I am born of the earth and will one day be drawn back to it. I feel it is my duty to protect the mother of earth and devote my life to her and her children. What else am I if not a Druid?

I have yet to find an alternate answer.
