check out witchvox for your area.
I thought there was nobody nearby where I live, but after checking there I've found a local coven. Also I've been able to find lots of different open circles, supply stores, classes. There's probably a lot more goi…
What state do u live in......maybe easier to locate someone in an adjacent town. I found one guy whom lives close to my town who is a non-practicing wiccan. He fell into a bad crew that played too much so he prays to the Lord and Lady but does no ri…
Or maybe a "bowl" of water would be even better. Just teasin'.
Now for an unlimited time, elements in a box, comes free with your McDonalds kids meal!
LOL. I couldn't help that one. But yeah, you can always use incense and candles together. Do what…
Incense and candles go together like peaches and cream. Incense is related to Air Magick and candles are related to Fire Magick. Why not add a dish of water and a dish of salt or rice to collect all 4!
I had seen your posts about becoming a Wiccan group leader. Having been a High Priestess of a large working coven for nearly 12 years I can tell you that it is a difficult and demanding job that requires a lot of hard work if you are going to be successful. And the first thing it requires is that you have a sound working knowledge about Wicca and about how to keep a random group of folks involved in what they are doing. You may be ready to take on this task and you may not. Don't let anyone push you into trying to do something that you aren't ready to do quite yet. That way lies disaster. You might like to read through some references on being a coven leader on my website athttp://www.tangledmoon.org/covenleaders.htm I particularly recommend reading the article on Forming a Successful Magical Group.
If there are any questions I can help you with just drop me a line.
I was reading the discussion on Leading a group. I have a suggestion/observation that may give you something to think about. You may want to look into the book, "Magickal Rites from the Crystal Well" , by Ed Fitch. It has some very good information that was used by the Early Pagan Way movement. Also, you may enjoy looking into the Correllian online Study classes and such, it is more based on Family Tradition Paganism and may help reconcile the issues between actual Crafte and the Arte of the Cunning Man or Woman. From what you have indicated about your family it sounds like they were Cunning men or women and that what they practiced was a form of Hedge Witchery and not so much the Religion of Wicca.
Greetings Darkling and Merry meet! If you need anything feel free to stop by. I'd like to invite you to my group, Chosen of Anpu. May the Watcher guide you always. )O(
