- I'm on a path....I have been on this spiritual path for a very long time....it's just that for years there was a thick fog blocking my view. Now that the fog has lifted.... wonderful things, magickal things have been happening...So... I'm calling myself Pagan today... but I'm a lover of nature, the Moon, the Goddess that has come into my life, I'm still learning and venturing into the woods (so to speak).

- About me..... Let's see. Well, I've been "clean and sober" for over five years...and my recovery has been a beautiful, spiritual and growing adventure. I have a passion for my recovery .... cause if not for it, I would not be where I'm at today.
I have three children, three grandpunks, three cats...hummm..something about that number three....two dogs, but I only have one boyfriend! And I love all of the above with everything I got. All of them, except one of the dogs, are the absolute best! And that one dog is just "misunderstood".
I love colors, All Star Converse tennis shoes, animals, my job, the moon, the earth, witchcraft,coffee, oh yeah... I LOVE music. I have many passions...and I learn and see new things everyday. I drank and drugged for 32 years... so five and a half years "clean and sober" isn't really a long time ... I feel like a kid, just seeing things for the first time. So, I still have a ton of stuff to figure out "about me". That question always makes me ponder....cause I'm new to myself.

- Alcoholic's Anonymous, all the Harry Potter books, there is a series called "The Sword of Truth"... there's 11 books all total in that series, but my favorite one was the first one ...."Wizard's First Rule"... I'm on the fifth one right now. I'm reading all kinds of books on witchcraft, Wicca, Pagan, Gods and Goddesses, magick, spells. .... and on and on. And they, too, are my favorites.... anything I read turns into my favorite. I've always been a reader. But my all time favorite book is.... "A Fine and Private Place". It's written by Peter S. Beagle...he wrote "The Last Unicorn".
- Favorite Movies:
- My all time favorite movie.... well "The Wizard of Oz"... of course. I like "Harold and Maude". I'm not much into the visual form of intertainment...unless it comes to "The X-Files" .... which is my FAVORITE tv show... and the movies, too. The new one will be out the middle of summer!!!!
- Favorite Bands:
- Oh boy....this could take a while... but here goes. The Beatles, The Stones, Pink Floyd, Led Zep, Old 97's, Matchbox 20, Overland Express, The Lovin Spoonful, The Allman Brothers Band, Marshall Tucker, The Moody Blues, Fleetwood Mac, Jethro Tull, Aerosmith, Metallica, AC/DC, Train, America, Three Dog Night, Sister's Finest, Black Oak Arkansas, The Stray Cats and then there are all the solo artists....Bob Dylan, Carole King, all the Beatles did some great solo work...George Harrison would have to be my favorite....Gordan Lightfoot is one of my favorite solo artist and so is Dan Fogelberg, I lke a guy by the name of Don Williams AKA the Gentle Giant, Jesse Colin Young and he was with The Youngbloods... and they were a band I liked, I forgot to mention Journey and Poco as my favorites!! Man... I could go on FOREVER with the bands and music stuff.... I just love music!!!! Oh .... U2 is a good one I forgot.... Like I said .... I guess every band is my favorite, except Lynard Skynard and I don't like Rap and not to big on the country scene.

License Plate Lawsuit Elicits Hate Mongering
The General Assembly passed a flurry of religious-themed bills toward the end of the recently concluded legislative session. One of the more controversial bills legalized license plates featuring a cross in front of a stained glass window next to the words I Believe.
